We would love your youth group to join us this summer.

here are the two options:

  1. join us for the 5 day neighbours and nations youth camp. your youth will be commissioned home to be bold in their faith wherever they are!

  2. join us for both the 5 day camp and mission trip immediately after. below is more information on how the two will work together.

CAMP

The Mission Track training is built into the N&N Camp, which means that everyone will participate in the morning and evening sessions together, but those on the Mission Track will spend the afternoons in different breakout sessions to prepare for your mission trip, including ministry prep workshops in specific skills relevant to your outreach location, team building, a time to get to know your mission trip leaders, and more!

Those on the Mission Track will leave for the outreach slightly early, missing the last session - but before you go you will be prayed out and commissioned by the whole camp! We feel it is so important to cheer you on, believing for what God wants to do through you in the location you will be serving in! We also hope that by seeing your group go, other young people will be inspired to take a similar step of boldness in the future! 

outreach

Accompanied by Mission Adventures staff, you and your group will embark on an 8-9 day mission trip where you will serve alongside long-term missionaries in the nation you visit. The outreach will primarily consist of three elements: evangelism, some form of mercy ministry (like food distribution or working with the homeless) and serving in a practical way. The schedule during the trip will include a balance of ministry time, team time, and some down time where you can relax or take in some local sights and culture.

As Mission Adventures staff, we will take care of all the practical aspects of the trip including food, housing, training, transportation, ministry planning, translation, debriefing, etc. This enables you to bring your young people on a mission trip without the burden of planning and administrating all the details, and frees them you up to simply share in the experience with your youth.

Where will we go?

We have several outreach location options, both in the UK and overseas. In the past we have been to Albania, Moldova, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and throughout the UK. However, we are open to what God might be speaking to you and your group! If you feel that God might be calling your group to a specific location, we can explore that too!

Debrief

At the end of the trip, your group will have a day of debriefing, where you will have the chance to reflect and discuss, both personally and collectively, what you have experienced and what God has taught you during the programme. There will also be some teaching, such as practical tips on giving a presentation about the trip to your home church, and different ways you can take what you’ve learned and apply it within your local community!

  • Camp: £95
    Early bird tickets for £75 if you book before 28 February.

    Optional Food Ticket: £50
    The food ticket includes breakfast, lunch and a warm cooked dinner for the duration of the camp.

    Camp & Mission Trip: £550
    This includes camp cost, indoor accommodation, food, and transportation in outreach location. Flights not included.

  • N&N camp will take place at Youth With A Mission Harpenden (YWAM).

    Arrive by:

    • Train: the site is a 15-20 min walk from Harpenden train station.

    • Car: parking available onsite.

    • Plane: the nearest airport (10 min drive away) is London Luton Airport.

  • Everyone will be camping on-site. Upon registration you will receive a camping info-kit, with all the information regarding camping that’s needed.

    Some helpful information:

    • You can request to camp next to a youth group or church of your choice, just let us know by email.

    • You can bring your own gazebo or marquee.

    Indoor Accommodation
    We provide a limited amount of indoor accommodation, on a first come first serve basis. Indoor accommodation includes indoor rooms with beds, bathrooms, a kitchen that can be used. You would need to bring your own sleeping bags.

  • You are welcome to cook onsite, or you can purchase a food ticket for your group.

    Optional Food Ticket: £50
    The food ticket includes breakfast, lunch and a warm cooked dinner for the duration of the camp.

  • Camp Rhythms:

    Mornings: Corporate morning session including teaching and worship.
    Afternoons: Optional workshops and seminars, fun activities, and rest.
    Evenings: Corporate evening session with after hours!

    If your group signs up for the Mission Track, you will attend the corporate morning and evening sessions and the Mission Track programme in the afternoon.

    There will also be a prayer room available throughout the camp, with an optional morning worship and prayer session for young people that want to start their day this way!

  • If you are a young person, but your youth group is not coming to N&N Camp or they are but aren’t joining the Missions Track, then we would love to have a conversation with you and a parent to explore how we can still help you get involved in international missions. We are looking to creating a missions team for individual applicants (age 15+), location TBC (but definitely somewhere awesome!).

  • Our team is committed to creating a safe and healthy space for young people to grow in their relationship with Jesus. We believe all children and young people have the right to be treated with respect, dignity, and should feel empowered to let someone know if they are suffering any harm. For me as a leader, it was so amazing to see the young people step up to every opportunity, but also seeing them grow in themselves. They arrived a slightly distant family and now they are a family that supports and encourages each other. They have God on 'speed dial', and know He is real. They are more confident in themselves and are seeking God's truth for themselves!
